A Little Self-Discipline Goes A Long Way...

A Little Self-Discipline Goes A Long Way

Self-discipline is difficult. While you have the best of intentions, your follow through is not always perfect.

Here is the good news. Several studies have shown that when you deliberately exert self-control in one area of your life, that same self-control will spill over and positively affect other areas of your life as well. When you follow through it programs your brain to begin to expect your actions to align with your intentions.

Self-discipline is also responsible for more positive emotions, strengthening your self-confidence and improving your performance. It is possible for you to experience how much easier life can be when you set a few boundaries. Simply follow the actions below and start making a difference in your own life!

  • Pick one area where you want to improve your more self-control
  • Then, identify what you will do to succeed
  • Finally, follow through
  • Then, Celebrate your improvement!

How To Maintain Success In 3 Short Words...

Those three words are Rest, Rebuild and Recharge!

The ability to sustain success has risen in society’s collective consciousness in many ways over the last decade. It is now understood that the impact of the purchases we choose assist us in being more wise in our choices and ensures that our actions support the overall health of our planet. Still, it seems that our ability to maintain our own well-being has a long way to go.

May times we push ourselves to the point of unceasing exhaustion, all in the name of productivity and success. We run at full speed, leaving no reserves or breathing room allowing us to deal with each of life's unforeseen challenges. Additionally we fail to see that the winning strategy in not always putting forth more effort.

In order to maintain success, we must learn how to manage each of the following: our personal energy; our physical strengths; our mental awareness; and spiritual well-being. It is vital for us to establish simple daily practices that will keep us feeling connected, stimulated and strengthened.

  • First, be sure to check those energy levels daily.
  • Leave breathing room in your schedule.
  • Prioritize your life so that you are strengthening your well-being each and every day.
  • Seek out others who will back you in this effort!

Creating Happiness Every Day!

“The worst thing to do is to die while reading LIFE magazine.”
― Bill Cosby

Laugh and Live Happily Ever After...

Laughter is an amazing medicine. It lowers stress, reduces blood pressure and increases your body’s ability to stay healthy and relaxed. There is no wonder why  it feels so good to laugh.

Sadly, as we get older many times we actually have to remind ourselves to laugh. Here is an interesting study: in an average day a child laughs more than 100 times while an adult laughs a mere dozen. There is certainly room here for improvement.

Fortunately, laughter is free, readily available and overtly contagious. Seriously, when you see someone laughing watch how quickly those giggles spread. Your life is beautifully created. When you are happy you actually attract more happy people, more positive experiences and yes, more laughter in your life.

So, work hard to add more laughter in your day! You will see your problems diminish and your hopes increase.

  • Choose to laugh daily, or die trying! (that was a joke)
  • Make use of funny videos. YouTube is great for this!
  • Rent or watch a funny movie or television show, like “Elf”
  • Finally, realize how good it feels to laugh
